Could it be the American industrial-military complex is looking to expand its power-base oops I mean market?

watched CPAC a bit tonight; you learn all kinds of interesting stuff on that channel, like how the Canada First "Defence" Strategy wasn't much of a Defence strategy at all - one might expect it would have long-term goals and objectives, timelines, budgets, capability requirements, etc., but all it consisted of a fancy PR stunt where they rehashed a bunch of old programs launched a few years ago. Sounds more like a "Conservative Ratings First" strategy than anything else. Oh well.
