"having a career requires work - it needs nurturing, planning, grooming, constant attention... it's a full time job." maybe that's why the rest of us minions are doing two jobs while they are busy getting ahead?

I always thought that hard work and determination were important to career advancement but clearly I am dead wrong. At my company, all that matters is deception, showing off, brown nosing, nepotism, etc.
